Please don't forget that you can check the web site for updates on the cranes.
Joe has a good report that tells about the people tracking them, and that
NASA is also helping us keep an eye on them. It further reminds us to watch
them from afar and never try to feed them. I know all the list serve birders
know how important this is. But on this flight, these birds are on their
own. There are many people who do not know their significance or the
importance of keeping our distance. Please tell everyone you know, and help
us get the word out.

The exact address for the reports is
http://www.operationmigration.org/field_2002_spr.html

or simply go to operationmigration.org and click on In The Field.

Also the Associated Press is reporting with good information. Check your
daily news sources, and let your local papers and news reporters
know that you would like to have them report on the flight.

Oh, yes, if the birds fly 7 hours like yesterday they could be in Tennessee
by tonight. If they are hampered by wind or weather, they could stop short of
Tennessee and fly into middle Tennessee by tomorrow afternoon. That is IF
they even fly today and tomorrow. Good luck everyone. Hope you get to see
them.

Good birding,
Cynthia Wilkerson
