A Yellow Rail was found today about 2:30 PM in the Chattanooga area. The
bird was flushed and the white trailing patches on the wings were observed.
The rail was found along the right side of the large marsh off of Standifer
Gap Road which is reached from Shallowford Road via Highway 153 north. A
Sora was also heard in the area.
Also found in the Chattanooga area today were 13 species of warblers.
