Frank,

You folks are very nonchalant about the Tricolored Heron! It is a much rarer
bird than a Swainson's Warbler! This species is extremely rare away from the
counties that border the Mississippi River in TN. The Tennessee Bird
Records Committee Official List of the Birds of Tennessee asks for
documentation of this species away from the Mississippi River. You can find
a documentation form to download off the Tennessee Ornithological Society
website. Look under Bird Records Committee.

If you need any help, let me know.
(you can send the completed form to me)

Thanks

Kevin Calhoon
Chattanooga, TN
