Greetings from the Charlotte Park area of West Nashville near the old Cleece's Ferry and across the river from Bell's Bend. After I saw Air Force One taxi for take off from Nashville on TV this morning, I went outside to see if I could see it fly over West Nashville on the way to the next stop in Iowa. Apparently I wasn't the only one looking as I suddenly noticed a large bird flying over the Bell's Bend area. Through my binoculars, I determined that it was a gorgeous bald eagle, presumably the one that we've seen in Bell's Bend before. Although I didn't see Air Force One anywhere near, I suspect that America's symbolic "First" bird may have had a good view of America's "First" Air Force jet from its vantage point high in the sky. It really did seem to me to be an amazing coincidence.
