My birding time has been very fragmented as late (like most of the woods I've
been to recently), but I have made it out a few times. The highlight so far
is the return of Lark Sparrow and Swainson's Warbler to their regular haunts
in Henry Co. Don Manning has been seeing Lark Sparrows for about a week now,
and I got out there yesterday and had a male singing. I think the Swainson's
just arrived yesterday, as I had been in that area the 2 previous mornings.
He was moving around and singing constantly yesterday, as if setting up
territory. Also unusual yesterday was an overland migrating Forster's Tern in
Henry Co., at least 25 miles from the nearest river.

Other recent additions to my year list include:

Little Blue Heron (4/10/02 Reelfoot)
Ruby-throated Hummer (4/10/02 Reelfoot)
Chimney Swift (4/10/02 Reelfoot)
Eastern Kingbird (4/12/02 McKenzie)
Red-eyed Vireo (4/15/02 Henry Co.)
Warbling Vireo (4/10/02 Reelfoot)
White-eyed Vireo (4/10/02 Reelfoot)
Yellow-throated Vireo (4/10/02 Reelfoot)
Blue-headed Vireo (4/15/02 Henry Co.)
House Wren (4/14/02 McKenzie)
Wood Thrush (4/15/02 Henry Co.)
Black-throated Green Warbler (4/14/02 Henry Co.)
Prairie Warbler (4/14/02 Henry Co.)
Prothonotary Warbler (4/10/02 Reelfoot)
Louisiana Waterthrush (4/10/02 Reelfoot)
Kentucky Warbler (4/14/02 Henry Co)
Common Yellowthroat (4/10/02 Reelfoot)
Hooded Warbler (4/14/02 Henry Co)
Indigo Bunting (4/14/02 Henry Co)

Good birding (be seeing some of you at Dauphin I'm sure)!!!!!!!!!!!!
