Hi Lief, I enjoyed your demo about the OpenCBM transfers. As a matter of fact I got my XM1541 cable a few days before the meeting and was trying the very same thing. So far I've got about 80 disks transferred (including 10 or so disks full of PET games from my highschool days in the 80's ;-) . Anyway, I was playing with GUI4CBM4WIN 0.4.1 and started looking at the source code. I'm a VB programmer. I fixed some bugs and added a few things like automatically putting the CBM header string in the filename field when creating D64s. Also, I added drag-and-drop to copy from explorer windows to the CBM drive. Is anyone interested in this? I'm not sure how to make it available... Now, when you reply to a message on the list, it will *always* go back to the list and everyone on it, regardless of whether you press "Reply" or "Reply to All" in your Email program. This way, the list will see more activity and it will prevent conversations from getting fragmented. If you really do want to reply privately to a message, you'll need to manually edit the "To:" field of your email. We'll see how this goes and re-evaluate after a month or so. Remember, any subscriber (that means you) can post to the list! Regards, Leif -- Leif Bloomquist leif(at)schemafactor(dot)com http://home.ica.net/~leifb/ "Parry! And thrust! And quip! AGAIN!"
