I'm watching the BBS Documentary for the second time and there some people
who are local whom I don't know anything about. Who are these locals? Why

Hi Chris. When I saw the BBS Documentry it was pretty clear to me that
in parts they were really desperate for content, which is a shame
because a lot of the documentry is pretty good. Still, they
interviewed some people who definately had no place in the BBS
Documentry (i.e. people who were on the "scene" a few months at most).

One person they should have interviewed (I think) was BUG's first
Sysop (cannot remember his name anymore). I remember going over to his
place around 1984 and seeing the setup, strings of Commodore PETs, C64
hardware, and drives all daisy chained together. It was the wickedest
BBS setup I ever remember seeing. I'm surprised they didn't even touch
CRS (Canada Remote Systems, which had over 200 nodes).
