Sorry, I confused C64 CRT images with Vic-20 cart image dumps.

This may help:

Here is link to a copuple of CRT tools (I have not tried them).

Hi Walter -

I followed a method similar to what Brian Lyons laid out (although I thought it was more than 2 bytes that were stripped off - but that was a while ago so maybe....).

I downloaded the CRT file on my PC - put it onto a 720K disk and then loaded the file into my Amiga (which reads the PC disk). Using a file called AZAP I stripped off the first part of the file (whatever number of bytes it was - strip off whatever preceeds the 8 bytes which preceed the characters 'CBM80') -saved that shortened file onto a 1581 disk on the Amiga and then read it into a C64 off the 1581. There you could run it in the cartridge space (assuming it didn't have any protection) or burn it into a 2764 EPROM - I used the Promenade burner on the C64.

A little more involved than doing it on the PC but I used the hardware I had and kept it more Commodore :).

Does anyone know where I can find some?

I’ve erased some eeproms I had hanging around,

And want to try out my new 8/16k cartridges with

28 pin rom socket…

J

Anything would fun at this point…

J cheers…

By the way the programmer is a William Eprom Burner standard Dual power one

Board marked 3B or 4E ( I use it in 3B mode )

Seems to work well…

The eprom eraser I go was only 29.00 bucks and has little

Drawer and timer on it. Very cool… J

Either way, if anyone has any links to share for bin files,

That would be great… cheers.

J just playing around at this point just to get familiar with it all.

J
