They were made for some company called "Arkla." This name, I believe, was derived from the words Arkansas and Louisiana, as most of the units (if not all) were shipped to the southern U.S. One was given away at a Commodore company golf tourney as a door prize, and I won it! Still using it today over 26 years later! I've replaced the burner a few times and painted it once, but I'm sure it still has another 10 years of service left in it! === I can see it now... eBay auction number 12345252342233822912 Finishes: 19-Nov-2017 8:42 am EST **VINTAGE** Commodore ArkLa barbecue autographed by Commodore guru Karl Hildon! Well used, not in working order, but one-of-a-kind! :) Jim
