Well, I got my XA1541 adapter today - I connected it up to
my wife's computer (some kind of celeron pc, 256mb of ram,
windows xp), downloaded and installed opencbm and gui4cbm
and was unpacking disks within minutes - very fast.

I'm using a 1541 that I pulled out of someone's trash heap
to unpack the disks - works great!
