Dear All,

I just found this list a few days ago. I was in the Commodore scene in Mexico back in the 80's. Now in New York, nostalgia got the best of me and I ventured into ebay to buy an SX-64. It was indeed in pristine condition (no scratches, original disk protector, all accessories, immaculate keyboard). It was an estate sale so the seller had no interest in finding out if it was fully functional or not.

I got the computer earlier this week and to my surprise when you turn it on, it beeps, the disk whirrs, but the screen is one white square. I have played with the contrast, brightness controls to no avail. Would like to think that it is something that became unseated during shipping (as I have read in some posts somewhere), but I wanted to sound it off you before I opened it up and made more damage, or if you may think that the symptom corresponds to something else, where can one get one of this things repaired nowadays.

Thanks and best regards,

Manuel
