Sounds great! We have done the occasional "bring your other
non-Commodore retro machines" night which have been fun and
informative. Would be cool to do one again and learn more about the
ZX and BBC line, I don't think I've seen a BBC Micro outside of a
museum.
Added to the list of ideas, keep them coming....

rivals to the major Commodore micros (heck - it's a big topic, you could

how they stacked up against the C= systems. Maybe even pick some classic
games of the time released on multiple platforms and run them side by side?
As someone who didn't really get much exposure to the 8-bit Commodore
machines (or a lot of the other systems popular in North America) at the time
(my childhood was mostly ZX Spectrum, BBC Micro, and IBM PC), I'd certainly
be interested in it. I'd also be happy to bring along examples of the 80s UK
systems I have in my collection (I've got a ZX Spectrum, a ZX Spectrum +3,
and a BBC Micro model B) if people are be interested.
