The next TPUG meeting will be held Thursday, September 18th 2008 at 7:30 PM.

There are two demos planned for this month:

1. The uIEC (pronounced "micro I E C") by Jim Brain. An IDE and Compact Flash interface for any Commodore computer with an IEC (serial) port. Also supports JiffyDOS.

2. I'll be showing my game NetRacer, a realtime networked multiplayer game for the Commodore 64 with network cart. I'll also give a short technical talk on the game and server implementation.

Meetings are in the basement of Alderwood United Church which is at 44
Delma Drive, Etobicoke, south of Sherway Gardens and west of Browns
Line.

By car, exit the QEW or southbound 427 to Evans Ave, turn south on
Gair at the lights, and follow Gair to Delma.

For TTC, take the 123 Shorncliffe South bus which departs the Kipling
subway station every twenty minutes (check the TTC's schedule for
up-to-date information) and can drop you off on Evans at Gair. The
trip takes between ten and fifteen minutes and the driver will
announce the stop upon request. From there it is a five to ten minute
walk to the Alderwood United Church.
