I visited Occoquan Bay NWR this morning in the rain. Pretty dreary, but lots
of sparrows. I saw song, swamp, savannah, field, tree, fox, white-throated,
and white-crowned sparrows, dark-eyed junco, and eastern towhee. The fox
sparrows were singing. I also saw a male common yellowthroat. Most of the
activity was along Bayside Rd., and around the marsh on Charlie Rd.
