Hi,

(To clarify about the subject: there is only one Northern Shrike; I was
just trying to be funny)

I made my 3rd trip of the year to Sully Woodlands in Fairfax County this
morning. I spent about an hour between 10-11AM there. The Northern Shrike
obligingly appeared, very active -- perching in trees, flying about,
hunting insects, giving us (myself and several other friendly birders)
great looks in excellent diffused morning light. It was mostly in bare
trees west of, and behind (north of) the abandoned building.

See my rolling log at:
http://www.travelerathome.com/2017_shrike/2017_shrike.html ;(of course, it
only has 1 entry now).
