I birded the reservoir south of Farmville briefly this morning. Besides the
many Ruddy Ducks, Scaup, and Red-breasted Mergansers, there were at least
five Red-necked Grebes on the lake. One was close to the boat dock, three
were floating out in the middle of the water, and one was located at the
far end of the dam. There might be more our there...
