Greetings all,
7 Long-tailed Ducks, including 1 adult male, were present this afternoon on
the pond southwest of the Old Trail golf club house in Crozet, VA. This pond
is about half a mile southwest of the pond where the Violet-green Swallow
was seen yesterday. Although several Tree Swallows were present on both
ponds, I had no luck with the Violet-green Swallow this afternoon, nor did
anyone I ran into. I last checked the pond just before 4:00.
My eBird checklist for my quest around Old Trail is below!
Good luck and happy birding,
Carolyn Sedgwick
