[Va-bird] A Pied-billed Grebe in Warren County April 4, 2009

A Pied-billed Grebe, several Canada Geese, a Mallard, a Northern
Mockingbird, a Northern Cardinal, and two Red-winged Blackbirds were
seen on or near the ponds of William Vincent Road in Warren County
today, Saturday, April 4, 2009 around 1630.  William Vincent Road is
located near Bentonville, Virginia, about 8 miles south of Front
Royal, just off US Route 340.

The following species were observed at the feeders at our house near
Limeton, Virginia, today from 0825 to 0925.

Turkey Vulture
Black Vulture
Green Heron  (On a nearby pond)
Red-tailed Hawk
Cooper's Hawk
American Kestrel
Mourning Dove
Red-bellied Woodpecker
Downy Woodpecker
Eastern Phoebe
Tree Swallow
Carolina Chickadee
Tufted Titmouse
Blue Jay
American Crow
Eastern Bluebird
American Robin
Northern Mockingbird
Chipping Sparrow
White-throated Sparrow
Dark-eyed Junco
Northern Cardinal
House Finch
Pine Siskin
American Goldfinch

An Orchard Oriole was reportedly seen this week at a nearby feeder.
