On our Christmas tree farm we've been seeing a number of interesting birds
today and the past few weeks:
Nov 1 -5: solitary Evening Grosbeak (first one we've seen on the farm in over
20 years - been hoping we'd see a flock but no joy)
Red Breasted Nuthatches - ongoing
Ruby & Golden Crowned Kinglets - ongoing
Pine Siskins (diminishing in numbers at the month progresses)
Grackle - Nov 25, 2012 - green headed
Hermit Thrush Nov 24 & 25th
The farm is at about 2400'. It was 18 degrees this morning and had all the
usual suspects at the feeders.
