Good day,
It was a warm, muggy morning, but six of us had a birdy walk at Algonkian
Regional Park. This is a Northern Virginia Regional Park in Loudoun County, VA
bordering the Potomac River. A pleasant surprise was finding six warbler
species, and all of them were busily feeding. The walk was co-sponsored by
Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy and Audubon Society of Northern Virginia. Here's

Canada Goose--35, flying down river and then over the park

Yellow--billed cuckoo--1, sitting quietly in a tree not far from an Eastern
Bluebird
