I joke about people not wanting to follow me when I drive... I mean it.
While stuck in traffic on Van Dorn between Franconia and Edsall Rd I saw:
6 NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRDS in various acts of display
2 PALM WARBLERS (these were on Van Dorn, between Eisenhower and Courtney,
working their way down the brush line at the guard rail)
a small flock of GOLD FINCH
and I have been seeing both HOUSE FINCHES and PURPLE FINCHES in the parking
lots of the warehouse complex across from the BMW dealership.
also seen were several starlings, an american crow (being chased by a
common grackle), and a few sparrows.
