The American Golden Plover was still at Huntley Meadows Park on Monday
afternoon. I was there from 3:15 to 4:45. I did not locate the bird for
about a half an hour, but I found it after a Cooper's Hawk flushed all of
the shorebirds. I found it first when I was on the far side of the
observation tower. The bird then flew to the right, and I saw it from the
observation deck on the boardwalk. I did not take any new photos to add to
the ones I posted yesterday on my SlickPic site.
