This morning on the way back from my son's school I went along Riverside Dr.
from Huguenot Flatwater to Pony Pasture and there were 3 Wigeon next to a
sleeping bird in between 2 islands. On the loop back the sleeper turned out
to be a grebe in non-breeding plumage and the wigeon had disappeared. The
buffleheads will be here soon, I guess. The usual geese and mallards are
there, along with Am. crow. Have a great day!
