Hello everyone,
I went to the lakes in Amherst Co. yesterday 5-18-08. The only highlight I
saw was a Great Egret
at the bridge where the creek goes into Mill Creek Lake. I stopped at the field
were I have gotten
Vesper Sparrows and had 2 Upland Sandpipers and had a pair of Bobolinks. The
male flew
across the road and then I saw the female sitting on a fence post. I am going
tomorrrow if it doesn't
rain to hard. That's the 1st time I've seen Bobolinks in Amherst. I hope they
will breed.
The RS Hawk's 3 young are almost ready to fledge. I took some photos
this afternoon.
