[Va-bird] Arlington Nighthawks, Chimney Swifts, and Barred Owls

From roughly 7:10-7:40 PM this evening I was out looking and listening in my
neighborhood. I saw modest numbers of Chimney Swifts about, and a minimum of 4
Common Nighthawks cruising around up fairly high, not vocalizing. They seemed
to be stationed south of me, over Glencarlyn Park, and I wonder whether they
may head further south to the Skyline area on Route 7 later when the lights
come on? Also, I heard probably 2 different, and perhaps 3, Barred Owls
calling. The highlight of the evening was a moment when I saw a tight grouping
of the 4 Nighthawks seemingly "flying around" the bright first-quarter moon --
a very nice sight.
Yesterday evening I saw a whopping 2 Nighthawks and heard vocalizing.
Disappointing; I had hoped for more activity in the wake of Hanna.
