I spent the weekend in Sandbridge, and I got to go to Back Bay NWR several
times on Saturday and Sunday. The highlights there were singing Marsh Wrens
(at least 3) and Sedge Wrens (at least 2). We also flushed two Clapper Rails.
I was hoping to find Seaside and Sharp-Tailed Sparrows, but I missed them.
Before coming home on Sunday we stopped by the CBBT. The highlight there was a
single Little Gull sitting next to several Ring-billed Gulls. My friend Kevin
Germer actually spotted it and convinced me that it wasn't a bright-legged
Bonaparte's. A lifebird for both of us.
