The Hampton Roads Bird Club visited Beaverdam Park in Gloucester this
morning and sighted 48 species. The ducks have still not arrived in numbers,
but we did spot a pied-billed grebe and ruddy duck. We also had good, long
looks at both a Gray-cheeked and Swainson's thrush in the same area for a
