Good day,
Eighteen people joined leader Jenny Vick for a walk along Twin Branches Trail
in Reston, VA this morning. It was a delightful morning, with very low
humidity, for a bird walk.
The surprise for the morning was finding an active Acadian Flycatcher nest.
Both parents were bringing food to the nestlings. Not all birds were seen
and/or heard by everyone on the walk. Here is the list of the 36 species we saw
or heard:
