At Great Falls National Park this morning our group of seven tallied 40
species. The eagles have all left the nest. Highlights of the day included
an eastern kingbird feeding two young and a scarlet tanager with one, and the
warbling vireos singing sweetly. There was nice variety tp the fiycatchers.
All are welcome to join this weekly walk that meets at 8:00 am, rain or shine,
in the visitors center parking lot. -- Marshal Rawson, McLean, VA
