Hello all
Early Saturday morning I took off for the Eastern Shore to do some scouting for
April 17th weekend . I will be leading a field trip to the Eastern Shore &
Chincoteague . While I am in the area we will start off by going to see the
Monk Parakeet's in Newport News .
Then it will be off to the Eastern Shore for some birding & fun . On the return
trip we will stop off in Jamestowne for more birding . This weekend I tallied
up 95 species of birds & I was at a slow pace . Below is a list of highlights
that were found .

Little Blue Heron -- Chincoteague

Glossy Ibis -- Chincoteague
Whimbrel -- Willis Warf
Marbled Godwit -- Willis Warf
Laughing Gull -- hundreds at Chincoteague's Causeway
Eurasian Collarded - Dove -- 2 usual place on Eastern Shore
Monk Parakeet -- 7 -- 12 Rexford Dr. Newport News
Great Horned Owl -- 1 at Chincoteague & 4 at Saxis
