All,
Birding along the river in eastern Clarke this morning netted me 61
species, including 10 warblers. Highlights were 3 RED-HEADED WOODPECKERS
(spectacular), 2 NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH (singing vociferously), a KENTUCKY
WARBLER, AMERICAN REDSTART (FOS), at least 5 BLACKPOLL WARBLERS, a
RUBY-THROATED HUMMINGBIRD (FOS), and 3 BALD EAGLES interacting over the
river. Oh, and more ORIOLES (of both kinds) than I could count.
