Dear All
I am staying on Chincoteague for the New Years week and just saw an adult
winter Black-headed Gull from our rental house, which overlooks Chincoteague
Bay from the northern end of the island. The bird was working the shoreline
with a few Ring bills and headed southward along the shore towards the town
centre and wharf area.
I am not sure how rare this bird is in VA so would appreciate advice off list
as to the need for authentication details in VA. If anyone wants to look for
the bird and needs further details then do feel free to contact me off list. I
will look for it later on today.
