Greetings,
It was a delightful morning for a bird walk. Twenty two people showed
up for this morning's walk sponsored by The Bird Feeder in Reston,
Reston Association, and Audubon Society of Northern VA. The
highlights of the walk were multiple sightings of BLACKPOLL WARBLER,
including one taking a bath, CEDAR WAXWINGS, a pair of GREEN HERONS
engaged in what appeared to be nest building behavior, and multiple
sightings of BROWN THRASHERS singing from the tops of various trees.
