Managed to get decent images of the Black-tailed Godwit on Friday 3/22. It
was on the side of the Visitor's Center but had just flown off. It was low
tide and there were 3 Piping Plovers foraging there. We went back about an
hour later and other birders had relocated it on the other side. It was
fairly close and I got these images. Really fabulous bird!

Looked for the Black-Hheaded Gull. No luck. No Eurasian Wigeon either. Found
some Horned Grebes that were almost into breeding plumage. Horns visible..
Images of Horned Grebes and Piping Plovers are here.. along with some
Northern Gannets plunge diving off the CBBT. So much fun to watch them do
this.. and SO hard to photograph!
