Thanks to all who provided info on good duck locations. I chose to head out to
Pohick Bay on Saturday afternoon, and while it wasn't the ideal time to go, I
was able to spot and photograph a couple of Lesser Scaup, a first for me, and
my husband and I enjoyed watching some fine Osprey fishing, one flew his catch
right over my husband's head. I think he may now understand (a little bit) how
keen I am on spotting birds, though he is puzzled by my delight in ducks. (It's
