This morning our group of 13 saw a largish flock of Bobolinks at Enchanted
Pond (a part of Meadowood off of Gunston Rd. ). For those not familiar with
the area, the GPS address was 15520 Gunston Rd.. Enchanted Pond is on the
right side after you pass the stable area (sign on the right). There is a
locked gate on the right side of the road and the pond is visible from the
road. The Bobolinks were seen in both the fields before and after Enchanted
Pond and in trees around the pond. The birds were very voluble and perched
conveniently at the tops of trees so we could get good looks.
