Thanks to the sharp eyes and ears of a local birder, a flock of about 40
Bobolinks was located and has been hanging out in a hay field in an area north
of Lexington. The Bobolinks are feeding in the hay field and singing. In
addition, a single Grasshopper Sparrow was present – singing and trying to set
up a territory. I’ve posted some photos on my Flickr site, if you are
