At 8:30 this morning (5/3/10) I saw a small flock of 7 male Bobolinks at the
edge of a hayfield at Blandy Experimental Farm in Clarke County, VA. The
hayfield is located in the southern end of Blandy's property and Bobolinks
can be viewed from the gravel road or from the paved county road 628. Other
birds in the area included Eastern Meadowlark and Savannah Sparrow.
