What a surprise to be able to see 59 species doing our bird survey at Red
Wing lake Golf Course on such a WINDY day. we located a Warbler Tree near
the lake on the 13th hole that contained PARULA, BLACKPOLL,BLACK-THROATED
BLUE, NASHVILLE, MAGNOLIA,YELLOW and AMERICAN REDSTART WARBLERS. I have no
idea what kind of tree this was but it certainly held lots of yummy treats
for all the warblers. earlier in the morning Kevin was able to also observe
a COMMON NIGHTHAWK around the maintenance building.
