To all,
I was in my bedroom looking out at the snow and trees of my backyard. A
White-breasted Nuthatch caught my attention as it was foraging in a tree. I
pulled out my binoculars and when I looked for the little bird I found it
had disappeared. I kept on looking at the tree scanning for the nuthatch
when two birds, I figured to be about the size of a bird between a cardinal
and a mockingbird, fly into the tree. I put my binoculars to them. I got to
view them from the back for about one second before it flew away. I am not
too sure, but I think I saw a white rump. Then after that the Nuthatch flew
off and there was now no activity in the tree. I was still viewing the tree
in the hopes of something to come on by. What I got caught me by surprise. I
saw a small bird making its way up the trunk of the tree. I lost it for a
sec before I caught it with my binoculars. I was shocked in seeing that the
bird had been a Brown Creeper. I observed it for a short time before it flew
away and out of my sight.
