Hi,
Today after my appointment in Baltimore I made quick stops at Great Falls
and Lake Fairfax (I had yet to get back to work).
At Great Falls Park I saw 5 Buffleheads (2 males, 3 females/juveniles) just
above the dam. I was slightly surprised, as this is still October and the
Great Falls Walk report this Sunday did not include them.
At Lake Fairfax I saw one Vesper Sparrow briefly on the dam (see my eBird
list below). Overall, as far as brief stops go, I think i did pretty "dam"
well.
