This morning we birded the Bull Run Marina area. It was pleasant day to be
outside and watch birds. Along the river we saw several Blue Birds and a
single Field Sparrow. From Bull Run Marina we walked north until we found
myself walking along the Vista soccer and plot fields. Plenty of birds
around mostly Canada Geese (>400) and countless American Crows (>200) and
occasionally a Fish Crow. In the back of the soccer fields we saw a
Yellow-rumped Warbler and lots of Dark-eyed Junco and a Tree Creeper was
seen near the parking lot of the fields. On the way back on the road we saw
3 Purple Finches in a group a Junco and Goldfinches. Very nice.
