About 5% cloud cover all day, NNW-N 3-8 mph, 77-88 degrees F.
Raptor Observations:
A steady flow of Broadwings all day, starting out low and close to our
ridge on the north side, and later, flight paths were mixed to the north,
south, and overhead. The altitude of birds was high by afternoon in the
mostly blue sky, but they were not impossibly high. Hourly count of
Broadwings: 119, 503, 812, 651, 230, 87, 35. Bald Eagles - one adult, two
immatures.
