This morning in Fredericksburg I saw several male Cape May Warblers chasing
each other around the tree tops. Yellow Warblers and Northern Parulas were
singing while Eastern Bluebirds, White-breasted Nuthatches and Gray
Catbirds visited a mealworm feeders in my friends' backyard.
Yesterday at home on the Rappahannock River in the Northern Neck a male
Rose-breasted Grosbeak eyed me from atop the sunflower seed feeder while
Blackpolls called from the Willow Oaks. FOS Indigo Buntings and Eastern
Wood-Pewees were also spotted.
