Hi all, Had a great morning along the Canal Trail from Cornland Rd. down to
Douglas. Astonishingly (for me anyway), there were multiple Cape May and
Bay-breasted Warblers in song. What?? I no sooner got out of my pickup than
I was being serenaded. Seriously. Unfortunately I didn't get great looks, or
any looks for that matter, at many of the birds, but I enjoy birding by
sound all the same. (And in the early a.m. the sounds are especially loud.)
It's the next best thing. Good birding, Dave Gibson, Chesapeake
