Took a ride to Bethel Beach today after seeing Rachel Echols post about her trip there. On the way in to Bethel Beach there is a goat farm, where we spotted a beautiful pair of Cattle Egrets who posed nicely for me. On the beach there were quite a few Forster's Terns and a pair of Black-Bellied Plovers, not quite in their breeding plumage yet. We were hoping for Oystercatchers, but didn't see any. Way in the distance, in the marsh going in, I saw what I'm quite sure, were Snowy Egrets.

Right after the Egrets, there is also a picture of what I think is a Merlin. If anyone can ID it for sure, I would appreciate it. It was cloudy off and on, so the light on the bird isn't the greatest.
Thanks and Happy Birding!
