Yesterday a male Cerulean Warbler was singing in the Black Walnut tree in our
backyard. The resident birds - Scarlet Tanager, Yellow-throated Vireo, American
Redstart, Yellow Warbler, Yellow-throated Warbler, Gray Catbird, Brown
Thrasher, Tree Swallows, Purple Martins and Eastern Towhee were also vocal. A
male Common Yellowthroat, a flock of Cedar Waxwings, and a Yellow-breasted Chat
came to bathe in the yard stream.
