Hello all,
After reading Donald Sweig's recent posting about the Chimney Swifts
at Luther Jackson Middle School (Fairfax County), we paid a visit
there tonight. Donald was the only other viewer there.
We estimate 2,500 plus or minus CHIMNEY SWIFTS arrived to use the
chimney for their night's roost. Two COMMON NIGHTHAWKS flew thru as
well.
An added benefit was the spectacular sunset.
This is quite a show and worth a visit.
