VA Birders,
This morning I stopped at Chinn Ridge in Prince William County (behind NY
Monuments,
access on REte 234 opposite entrance to Visitors Center). This was en route
to
Snickers, about 7:30 AM (I was late or I'd have gone to the monument). I
found there
an Olice-sided Flycatcher, along with multitudinous (LOTS) of Phoebes and
Peewees,
even more Blue Jays, and assorted warblers, most of which I couldn't ID
because the
light was truly lousy. However the Blackburnian, Myrtle (fist of season for
me) and
Bay-breasted (adult female) were just lovely. Assorted locals filled out
the bill.
Snickers was PDG (pretty darned good!)
