Greetings Fellow Virginia Birders,
In the spirit of what we've done in past years, the VSO is hoping to
provide a complete listing of pertinent information for the upcoming
Christmas Bird Counts (CBCs) in Virginia on our website. A table providing
the dates & the names of the compilers for each count circle is listed here:

Currently, the table is displaying the 2016 information as a temporary
example of what is to be expected on the page. So, if you are a compiler
for a count circle in Virginia (or know who is!) please take a moment to
email me back the following information & I'll update your circle's
information for 2017:
- Which circle you run
- The date of the 2017 count
- Whether your count circle it is accepting volunteers or is closed
without invitation, or simply filled already
- A simple yes or no, as to whether I can list your email address in the
point-of-contact column, or if you'd prefer people get in touch with you
through the Audubon CBC webpage rather than the VSO's.
I'll be sure to update the website as information is passed on to me so if
you have any additions, just let me know! Lastly, please reply directly to
me, rather than using Reply All, as there is no need to spam all VA-Bird
Listserve users for this; the table on the website will provide the
information to all and can be checked at any interested party's leisure.
